Description
Washington, DC punk and indie rock history! These are the first six releases from the influential DIY label Simple Machines Records, run by Jenny Toomey and Kristin Thomson of Tsunami. Each release is named for one of the simple machines. These 7" vinyl records are packed with 1990s music history, and include tracks from Tsunami, Lungfish, Jawbox, Holy Rollers, Nation of Ulysses, Velocity Girl, Scrawl, Autoclave, Circus Lupus, Superchunk, Unrest and more. These records are out of print. All were purchased at time of release and include contemporary Simple Machines catalog inserts. Original owner.
This is a fantastic set for students of pop culture, DIY history, and the Washington, DC music scene.
