Featuring Inell Young's stunning vocal performances across 2 very different styles of track. “The Next Ball Game” is revered by funk fans who go ape over James Black’s crisp slam dunk drumming and full on attack of the rhythm section. Check the B-side for the rather haunting melody and approach of Part of the game. The occasional subdued strings, especially the pizzicato parts - are a fine addition to the mix of beautifully played guitar and organ, and Young sounds suitably nonchalant & broken hearted.
