Description
Initium LP by Samhain. Plan 9 1984 release PL9-04. Opaque black vinyl w/ small ring around center hole and flat edge. Their are no S7 or S10 etchings in the runout. Factory scratches from the stamper in Archangel. Paper sleeve. Glossy jacket. Based on these details, Discogs designates this as the "first pressing from the white marbled run", which were said to have been pressed by Glenn et.al. themselves, in order to have them to sell on their tour. The record has no scratches (other than those in Archangel). Both sides have some faint spots / marks that appear to have been there from the factory. There is a small, more definite spot in Horror Biz, so we played this track and did not note any audible results. The jacket would be near excellent except for creasing on the lower corner of the open side, push pin holes in all four corners, and age discoloration on the (un-printed) inside . The sleeve is wrinkled and aged, but no tears.
