Description
This is a very very rare box set of 7 inch records that comprise Interpol's Antics album. The catalog numbers for each single are listed below:
OLE 630-7 Next Exit/Evil
OLE 631-7 Narc/Take you on a Cruise
OLE 632-7 Slow Hands/Not Even Jail
OLE 633-7 Public Pervert/C'mere
OLE 634-7 Length of Love/A Time to Be So Small
There were only 500 of these available from an "Interpol Space" storefront setup in SoHo in NYC in the weeks leading up to the release of Antics. Each Tuesday and Friday a new record was released. I made five trips to collect the full set. With the final record came the slipcase shown in the photo.
To my knowledge these were never available on the web. I believe that there was an Interpol Space set up in London where the records could be picked up as a shrinkwrapped set (in a similar limited quantity) but in the U.S. the records were issued individually as I mentioned above.
As this item is very rare and sure to never be reissued, I have set a very reasonable reserve price, only a bit above the $5 I paid for each record.
