Description
Fairly rare legit pressing of "Introducing The Beatles" on Vee-Jay Records. While most copies you can find are fakes, this one appears to be authentic- I checked the usual list of features to confirm- deadwax info, type & VJ logo on the Labels are correct, George has his shadow on the cover, cardboard sleeve has the right 1/4 foldover, etc. You will find it matches the specs for what's called 'Version Two' of this pressing. Please see the photos for all the details. Condition is very good / VG: record displays a lot of light marks and swirls from handling, but plays surprisingly well, with a bit of the expected surface noise but no real big, loud ticks / pops. (LP has been cleaned on VPI record cleaning machine). Cover has the usual wear to the front, back and edges, and there is a small "DR" written in the upper right corner of the front above the T in BEATLES. Certainly not the cleanest copy around, but a nice lp to crank up and bask in the glory days of January 1964 without breaking the bank. Any questions, please ask, thanks.
