Description

Here’s a solid copy of the most common legitimate issue of this (in)famous Beatles release on Vee-Jay.


Details: ‘Beatles’ above spindle hole. Rainbow label. ‘VJ’ in brackets. Includes ‘Ask Me Why’ and ‘Please, Please Me’. Track listing on back.


Note (4/5): I forgot to add to the above that, like some pressings, ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ only starts on beat 4, rather than McCartney’s 1-2-3-4 count-in….


Vinyl is clean & mostly quiet; light surface noise and light scratching. Very slight warp that doesn’t affect play and only presents on Side Two. Jacket shows light edge wear only, and isn’t split.
