Description
The Beatles "Introducing The Beatles" VJLP-1092 version 2 column-back mono LP...guaranteed real and authentic from 1964. Let there be no doubt this is the "Real McCoy" (it passes every test for authenticity). If you have any questions, please ask. Moreover, what makes this particular item special is the fact it has two different VJ logos on either side: Side One has the "VJ in brackets" whereas Side Two has the "VeeJay in an Oval". The 4th song on Side 1 [CHAINS] mistakenly credits the songwriters as Coffin-King instead of Goffin-King. The deadwax, indeed, has "URJ", "AI", the date 2-6-64, and the matrix number followed by a "-1". The Side Two label print is consistent (same size, etc.)with Side 1 yet simply has the "Oval" logo (all deadwax information is the same as Side One). The cover is in excellent condition with no seamsplits, stains or writing marks. The top and bottom edge show some minor, typical "rubwear" or "paper-flaking"...but the whole cover is quite a bit cleaner than you can usually find legitimate examples...straight and square (and the spine is totally legible). The record is a solid VG to VG+...with beautiful near-mint labels that have no spindlewear. If you collect unusual variations of this album - or simply want a really cool "100% guaranteed real" example of this classic Beatles' album - then this is it. This item does not have the original VJ inner sleeve. I apologize for the less-than-perfect photos.
