The Sonics "Introducing The Sonics"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Jerden 7007 from 1967. This is a Mono copy of their 3rd and last original album. It has two songs from their first album (The Witch and Psycho) and the rest are new. All songs are early garage rock classics ( except "Love Lights", which is out of place). This needs to be played loud. They were big in the Northwest, but the rest of America missed out on them. This a must have major rarity.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG / Record is M-
The cover is VG with no writing. There are no seam splits, but there is seam wear. There is light ring wear. There is tiny drill hole at bottom right. All four corners are bumped and the top left corner has been bent. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white plastic lined inner sleeve.
The songs are : The Witch, You've Got Your Head On Backwards, I'm A Man, OnThe Road Again, Psycho, Love Lights, I'm Going Home, High Time, I'm A Rolling Stone, Like No Other Man, and Maintaining My Cool.
I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years. I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 22 ounces ( 1 pound, 6 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number. Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. There are no handling charges. This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
