Description
First of all, I would like to thank gbjohnson for helping me know more about this item and providing important info for this listing.
Introducing the Beatles album - I know there are several versions of this album and I am not sure what distinguishes them totally. So I will give you as much info as I can. Album is mono, not stereo. Label is black VJ logo with brackets with a colored band around it. . Album is marked VJLP 1062 then 63-3402 and then "Longplaying". "Longplaying" is written as one word with no separation. Under "Side 1" and "Side 2" it says "Microgroove". Under the VJ logo is says "Introducing the Beatles" and then "The Beatles" centered underneath that. George's shadow can be seen on the cover of the album.
Please see photos for list of songs on each side. Dust cover has a rip on top of one side (see photo). Not original dust cover. This cover is advertising Columbia albums so I doubt this was the original dust cover. Jacket shows some wear and tear from age. Two biggest flaws are that someone wrote the name Linda Wilson in blue pen on top of the "TLE" in the name BEATLES on the cover. Also, there is about an 8" tear on the bottom seam. Please email me for any further info. I have no turntable so I can not vouch for the quality of the album and its audio. Sorry about that.
