Description
This is Introducing the Beatles VJLP 1062 with the much less common(or more rare) VeeJay in the OVAL(more like a red egg)! It is MONO and also has that special NUMBER "2" on it's GLOSSY back. Disc is in the small print indicating pressing at Columbia or Monarch plant(depending on which expert you read) It comes with the PLAIN WHITE and 40-year old dust jacket.
Cover is VG+ with no splits; disc is VG++ and plays great on both sides('cause I just got it off my new turntable).
Now lets talk about why you NEED this genuine OVAL within a circle within a square collectible!
COVER:
1. GLOSSY on the fronta anda the backa sida.
2. Quiet Beatle George Harold Harrison's shadow to his left.
3. No colored DOTS on the back at the top(as the counterfeits sometimes have).
4. Print around HONEY perfecto(sometimes imperfect on the phonies).
5. Overlap of cardboard INSIDE at toppermost and bottomost is 1/4 inch and she's that TAN color(fakes have more overlap and non-Tan or non-Grey color sometimes).
6. Number "2" after the word RECORDS on the back making this baby more uncommonly rare!
DISC(vinyl):
1. GLOSSY label and SILVER Beatles printing.
2. Vinyl trail-off less than 7/8 inches on both sides( fakaroonies often have more).
3. The entire title ABOVE the spindle hole.
4. Beautiful somewhere over the VJ rainbow COLORBAND.
5. Red and rare OVAL around VeeJay.
The Beatle Price Guides estimate $300-350 for this 40-year masterpiece made in early 1964. I will have a very reasonable reserve.
