Description
'Introducing The Beatles' original authentic 1st issue Stereo Ad Back album issued on January 10th of 1964. This is the first Beatles album manufactured in North America since the covers with "Printed In U.S.A." on the lower left side of the front cover were printed in Chicago in late June of 1963 and then left in storage for 6 months until 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' started being played everywhere in The United States. Only 2% of the first covers were the RARE Stereo covers. The glossy cover on both the front & back is in excellent condition with no seam splits & 4 pretty square corners. There is a bit of wear to the back cover & a date of 'Feb. 13, 1964' written on the upper back corner and a written price on the other top corner. That means this album was bought a few days after The Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan. The very first label pressing with "Stereo" at 12 O Clock is in looking hardly ever been played near mint condition. The record is in almost shiny like a mirror shape. Side 2 label has a bit of wear. The record has a date of ‘6-28-63’ etched in the deadwax on each side. The deadwax also has “audiomatrix” & “MR” which means this record was pressed at Monarch Records in California in the first week in January 1964. This has to be one of the top Five best conditioned Authentic Stereo Ad Back albums in existence in the world & I kind of doubt the other four will every be brought to the marketplace. Check out my YouTube video "Mr Stickermania presents the Stereo Ad Back" for more description. This Holy Grail Album will be professionally double boxed for protection through shipment with USPS priority mail. Thanks Frank
