"Best Of The Beast" is the first major Iron Maiden compilation. It contains songs from the earliest Soundhouse recordings up through "The X Factor." Included is a 40-page hard-cover book containing album and single cover pictures, diary entries, song lyrics, discography, and tour information.
The real highlight of this collection are four songs as recorded for the Soundhouse Tapes (Side 2 of Vinyl 4): "Remember Tomorrow," "Prowler," "Strange World," and "Iron Maiden." In my opinion, worth the price alone.
This Box Set includes:
--Four 12" vinyl records containing 34 classic Maiden tracks plus some live recordings.

--A sturdy cardboard box with Eddie Logo artwork on the front, track list on the back.
-- A 40-page hard-cover book filled with rare color photos of the band, lyrics and tour history.
-- Each record comes with inside covers and inner sleeves, all with color pictures.
-- A front cover sticker announcing the Eddie-inspired video game "Melt" (which was never released, but later renamed "Ed Hunter").
The records are all Mint. The sleeves show no wear. There is slight wear on the bottom from of the outside cardboard package.
I bought this from a record store when it was released in 1996. I'm sad to let this one go. Hopefully, it will find a collector who will enjoy it as much as I have!
