Iron Maiden Live After Death 2x LP 1985 1st Press w/Booklet & Merch Sheet EX/VG+/VG+.
For auction is a great to excellent listeners copy of Live After Death by British heavy metal legends, Iron Maiden.
Their first live album released as a double LP in October 1985. It was recorded live during the bands World Slavery Tour at Long Beach Arena in California on March 14-17, 1985 and at Hammersmith Odeon in London October 8-12, 1984. Live After Death was a commercial and critical success. It reached #2 on the UK album chart and was a Top-20 record in the US peaking at #19 on the Billboard 200. It has been certified platinum in the US with a million copies sold. Critically consider one of the best live heavy metal albums ever recorded, the magazine, Classic Rock, said it was, “the last great live album of the vinyl era”. This copy is a a 1st Jacksonville Pressing. Included is an 8 page booklet of tour dates, photos and other information. Also is a merchandise order form.
Vinyl is play graded EX/VG+. Record 1 has a barely noticeable storage warp that is purely superficial and doesn’t affect playback. Some light visible surface marks and hairlines that are not deep and can’t be felt. Plays with faint background noise if any and is graded EX. Record 2 looks the same but plays with faint background noise at times that is more obvious than on other disc and is therefore graded VG+. Neither record has any skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Gatefold cover is in VG+ condition. Barely noticeable shelf wear on corners and seams and some on open edges. Title is perfectly legible and there are no splits. Original inner sleeves are included but generic white die-cut ones are used to protect vinyl. Looks awesome and is super solid. Please see pics.
