Description
Here we have a very rare and interesting Maiden vinyl piece. Lots of history behind it. Paul Di Anno had left the band way before this was released as an official Maiden release in Venezuela. The worldwide release had eddie cutting the head from the devil. The venezuelan printers decided to replace the devil with Paul di annos' head as a sign of his being told to leave the band. Rod Smallwood and Maiden objected to the release and it was withdrawn. A lot of them sat in wooden crates in Caracas awaiting export. Due to the ban they sat on the airfield getting wet. Many destroyed by tropical rain. The remains distributed before being "pulled" from the market.. Manufactured by Rodven discos venezuela who marketed 90% venezuelan music this was new to them. Iconic. The record is absolutely sound. The cover is lightly worn but no splits, seam tears or water damage. Its an excellent example of a brilliant and unique piece of maiden history.
