For sale is my copy of The Number of the Beast by the gods of British Metal Iron Maiden, bought in the early 80's with my hard earned paper round money from the local record shop in town. This album was played and enjoyed many many times and I have to be absolutely honest about the key track, number of the beast has a couple of jumps right at the beginning during the spoken intro, I always remember the skip, maybe it's always been there but it was the only copy I had ever seen and it definitely wasn't going back to the shop. side A has a few crackles , every other wonderful song plays clean. Run-out numbers are EMCP+3400+A and B with etching ORLAKE and Give it somes headbuts. Super rare, probably one of the best picture discs ever pressed for striking visuals. Reluctant to sell but maybe it's time for it to move on to a new home, record may improve with a professional clean.
