Vinyl Surfaces - EX

Audio Test: EX.  (Basic deck through Audio-Technica studio headphones) 

• Album sounds great, nice bright sound with no skips or jumps 
• Very light background noise on gaps between songs and on VERY quiet parts of songs (e.g. the narrative part of 'Mariner' has a little background noise) but this does not take away from the enjoyment of hearing this classic as it was originally meant to be...in Analogue. Knocks seven bells out of the the CD version for 'real' feeling, the trade off being that with any vintage vinyl there'll be a bit of background noise in between tracks.   

Visual/Bright spotlights: EX.  

• Small-to-moderate  number of very light hairlines - the kind you get from careful handling and playing.
• No deep scratches or marks 
• Excellent sheen

Labels - NM

• Both labels excellent  

• No mould, scratches or marks. 

• Colours and printed text all perfect 

• Tiny amount of wear on spindle holes 

Outer Sleeve - NM

• Nice embossed sleeve with fantastic sheen all round, no marks, rips, label marks or colour loss on front or back covers 

• Spine has a TINY amount of wear (millimetres) writing is perfectly visible 

• Corners have a TINY amount of wear (millimetres) 

• Has clearly been stored in a plastic sleeve and very well cared for. 

Original Lyric Inner - EX 

• Original rounded/die-cut sleeve from the 1st pressings (Later pressings have a square sleeve) 

• A couple of small marks/indentations. No splits 

• No loss of colour or fading

• Vinyl will be removed from inner and securely packed during shipping to prevent splits

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G)

Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
