Description
Extremely rare Japanese version of Prowler/Running Free (EMS 17075) in Near MINT condition.
Published (and manufactured) by TOSHIBA EMI (Japan) in 1980.... this is a rare UK import and comprises:
Vinyl - A:Prowler, B:Running Free
Green paper inner sleeve
Picture insert with lyrics
Original polythene outer sleeve
Vinyl:
Near MINT condition, perfect label with no detectable wear around the spindle.
Marked in the run-off area
A-side: EMS-17075-A 1S O - Y
B-side: EMS-17075-B 1S
Inner Sleeve:
Near MINT condition, Green paper with white stripe, top opening marked TOSHIBA EMI in English and Japanese.
Picture Insert:.
Near MINT condition, featuring "censored" colour image of Eddie and "Maggie" and titles in Japanese. On the rear are the lyrics printed in English and Japanese.
Outer Plastic Sleeve:
Good/Fair condition, clear plastic has had grid lines drawn on it in pen but is otherwise intact.
The single was bought new by my wife in Chester, and has not been played for the last 18 years...these items rarely come up for sale in the UK, and will be a valuable addition to any serious collection of Iron Maiden memorobilia.
