Description

A great-sounding copy of this classic album. Record looks superb to the eye. A little minor surface noise at the start of track one, which slowly disappears as the track goes on. Otherwise sounds fantastic with just minor surface noise during quiet sections (not that there are many quiet sections on this record).
This has the DMM logo on the sleeve, which indicates an early release. The runout codes are hard to read, but I think they are:

Sleeve bright and in generally good condition, but with some obvious flaws (photographed) including some creasing on the left edge, wear on the edges and corners, and a small flap of paper lifted up from the top edge. Rear sleeve is nice. Inner sleeve is pretty good with only minor wear.
Will be posted in good-quality packaging.
A note about grading I believe that the grading system has been rendered worthless by people listing any old rubbish as VG+ or EX. As such, although eBay compels me to put in a grade, I also describe the condition to the best of my ability. I am not a vinyl expert, but I have a decent turntable with quality stylus and I will provide an honest assessment of each record to the best of my ability.
I listen to several minutes of both sides of each record. I listen to part of the first track, and then random later points (focusing on areas where any damage may be present, to check for skips or pops etc). I make notes on audio quality which inform my grading information.
All records are cleaned to one degree or another (usually with an alcohol-based cleaner and then rinsed with deionised water), but may need a gentle clean with a suitable cloth before playing, because I don't work in a NASA-style clean room. Some records may benefit from further cleaning.
