Description
I have for sale an original copy of The Soundhouse Tapes by Iron Maiden. I bought this from new in 1979 as a young 19 year old, from JAT Records. Wakefield UK, so can speak for it’s authenticity. I have always been a avid collector of vinyl, and was a regular at that shop (no longer trading now). The manager said to me listen to this new band, I loved it so much I bought it. He told me it was a first recording. So I played it no more than 4/5 times then decided to put it away in a hard plastic cover. It has remained untouched since 1979. And it remains as good as the day I bought it.However, no doubt you want more than my word so I have provided a link to a web site detailing the things to look out for in identifying a genuine copy. www.haggenkennedy.com/tst . The etchings on the vinyl as all Maiden fans will know are:-
Side 1.
Iron Maiden – Rock Hard Records – ROK 1 – ?1979
Matrix: *EG* …. SA …… LYN 7627 – IT …… ROK – 1 – A
Side 2.
Invasion / Prowler – Rock Hard Records – ROK 1 – ?1979
Matrix: ROK – 1 – B……….LYN 7628 – IT……….*EG*……….SA
The cover is EXCELLENT +. No rips, tears or marks.
Labels and Vinyl Near mint. No signs of wear, no visible marks, no scratches visible to the naked eye. As I mentioned I have left it stored away in a sealed box, in a dry atmosphere, smoke free home, with my other rare vinyls since 1979 and it hasn't been played since, the sound quality will be the same as the day it was bought.
Please see my photos, if you would like anymore please ask.
Due to rarity of this vinyl, I will only post it Royal Mail Tracked and Signed.registered post, whereas it must be signed upon receiving it.
I am prepared to send it internationally but you MUST please message me about the cost to your country BEFORE bidding.
Thank you for looking. Any questions please ask.
