I am not a record dealer nor a record re-seller, these are my own personal items of
vinyl and have not been in the possession of others.

As some will know I sold a number of Iron Maiden items then stopped as I felt I did
not want to part with the rest. However, I am having, through necessity, to sell my
vinyl collection and books.

I am a massive Iron Maiden fan and seen them on many occasions, including the classic
sets at Donnington.

This auction is for Iron Maiden’s ‘Virus’ 12 inch single which was released in 1996
on the EMI label , under catalogue number 12EMP 243. It is presented in a
poster sleeve and plays at 45rpm.

This is rather are Iron Maiden single, I love the artwork on the poster sleeve.

This has got to be one of Iron Maiden’s most underrated songs and an absolute favourite
of mine, so dark and with lyrics which are just as relevant today as they were in
1996.  I know many Iron Maiden fans were unhappy when Blaze Baley replaced Bruce Dickinson
but put that to one side and appreciate that Baley made this his own.

I still have the receipt for this single, bought it from Sleeves in Falkirk on 9th September
1996.

I can’t remember playing  this single and I am sure the only time it has been removed from
the packaging was to take the pictures for this auction. It is therefore in near Mint
condition. I tended to buy and play copies of my vinyl on CD to keep the album in great
condition.

Please note I will only sell to UK buyers. In the recent past I have sold to non-UK buyers
via a UK Postal address which forwards the item abroad, by the time I add extra
packaging and send it Royal Mail Special Delivery (@£10.36) within the UK to resolve any delivery issues it ends up costing me nearly £15. So it is now UK buyers only.
