Description
A sealed, unplayed, untouched, absolutely mint and very much out-of-print copy -- on Mobile Fidelity 180-gram vinyl, with half-speed mastering -- of Isaac Hayes's 1969 groundbreaking classic, Hot Buttered Soul. See allmusic.com or something similar for the track listing, but yes, this one has Isaac's idiosyncratic covers of "Walk On By" and the 18-minute "By The Time I Get To Phoenix." I have another copy for playing, and it sounds great, just as you would expect. This MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab) 180-gram LP bears Special Limited Edition No. 01371.
Shipping within the US: $4.00 by Media Mail; $7.00 for USPS Priority Mail, which I recommend. I'm listing plenty of rare, vintage and OOP vinyl this week, and will give shipping discounts for multiple purchases. In all cases, for fragile and (relatively) irreplaceable items like this one, Priority Mail is worth the extra expense. I'll pack it well. International shipping: your cost depends on my cost. If you're overseas, and are concerned about shipping costs, e-mail me in advance, but remember: the package will be on the heavy side, with insulation to enable LP's to make it to their destination unscathed.
