Description
Released by Island in 1967, cat # WI-3046; this is “Cry Tough†by Alton Ellis and the Flames c/w “Mr Solo†by Carol with Tommy McCook. Both sides are stamped “sample†in purple ink.
So, when was the last time you saw twenty white Island singles listed by the same person in one week on eBay? Thought so………………The vast majority of these Island singles required some gentle persuasion to fit on my record deck; indicating that the record was probably unplayed until I checked it for this listing. There are some very elusive singles in this batch, which do not turn up on eBay very often and certainly not in MINT/UNPLAYED condition!
Both labels are unmarked and look like new – or mint if you prefer! There is a small surface mark on the A-side; the rest of the vinyl is unmarked. Phew! Normal service is resumed – only slight surface noise at the start at the start of the A-side – the record grades as at least excellent. The B-side plays even better!
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
