Description

Released by Island Records in 1968, cat # WI-3101; this is “Gimme Back” by Derrick Morgan c/w “Send Requests” by The Viceroys.

There are four very tiny brown dots on the A-side label. The labels are otherwise unmarked - no spindle marks either. Both playing surfaces are unmarked except for strange mottling on the A-side that is clearly only on the very surface of the vinyl. Playing, the mottling has no effect and the record plays MINT!

All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.

Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.

Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.

I will combine multiple auction wins to reduce postage costs, so please remember to look at my other singles.
