Description
There Is No Other Isobel Campbell Cooking Vinyl Label. Cat. No. COOKLP720Y Released 2020
Rough Trade release in a gatefold cover by this Belle & Sebastian singer. Yellow vinyl. Limited to 1,000 copies. Comes with Voices In The Sky CD, unused download, Rough Trade Album of the Month Promo card, card lyric inner, and hype sticker.
Record is still in cellophane (opened). Played it a couple of times on my Rega RP6 and, although a good album, really pleasant, but it is one that I know I won't play very often.
CONDITION Under a 35 watt halogen lamp the record is absolutely unmarked.
When played on a Rega RP6 turntable it plays perfectly with no background noise whatsoever.
Everything else about the album is pristine - the cover, the inner, the card, the CD, which is unplayed

GRADING GUIDE - IMPORTANT!
I visually examine all records under a strong 35w halogen lamp, which shows up ALL defects.
I strictly grade my records according to the Rare Record Price Guide (RRPG), which, to me, means as follows:
MINT- Must be sealed
NEAR MINT - Totally unmarked, no scratches, not even faint 'hairlines' / sleeve withdrawal marks or any other signs of having been played.
EXCELLENT - No scratches, just signs of having been played, such as the odd faint 'hairline' sleeve withdrawal mark that is barely visible under a strong lamp, or spindle trails on the label.
VERY GOOD - The first mild scratches have begun to appear, but only very, very few.
GOOD - More scratches than Very Good and more severe, but I am confident that the record will play through without skips or sticking and will still provide a good listening experience.
FAIR - The record may not play through properly with a chance of it jumping and / or it will play with significant background noise.
POOR - It definitely won't play without skipping or sticking.
Below Near Mint I will use plus or minus with a grade to highlight fine differences.
COVER GRADES
My cover grades are EXACTLY as stated in Record Collector magazine / RRPG. Therefore, if a cover is defaced, stained or torn it CANNOT grade better than FAIR. Likewise, if any part of the contents are missing it CANNOT grade better than POOR.
All my records are dispatched using stiffeners and card mailers.
