"Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da\While My Guitar Gently Weeps" - This is a mega rare original Israeli Beatles record from 1968 in great condition! This laminated cover is one of the most desirable Beatles covers that were ever pressed in Israel and it's in unbelievable MINT condition! It's got a beautiful picture of the fab four from their "Mad Day Out" photo session (July 28th 1968) and it's unique to Israel only! No other place in the world used this picture for a Beatles cover! The most extraordinary thing about this record is it's French catalogue number: FO 148!!! while the French Beatles record with the same title and catalogue number has another picture sleeve. Please notice: this cover was pressed in Israel in two color variations: pink and purple. They are both mega rare! For sale in this auction is the pink one. To my opinion and from my experience the pink one is rarer and scarcer than the purple one. Believe me, it's not an easy task to find this record and usually it found in very bad condition (the Israeli vinyl market in the 60's was very small and the Israeli fans prefered to buy full albums instead of 7 inch records). Not many copies of this record were pressed back then in 1968 and probably not many survived in nice condition. Finding it in nice condition is so amazingly rare and almost impossible nowadays. This is a great condition and it's the best example I have ever had or seen!

Condition:

Cover: The laminated cover is MINT!!! It's a perfect cover, simply a beauty. There are no seam splits, no cuts, no tears and no writing. The lamination is perfect! The mouth is perfect! The spines are perfect! It's a very nice and clean cover and it's the best I have ever had or seen. Please notice: there is a small white-out mark at the upper right corner of the back cover (to the left to the FO 148) but it's not that bad and it's not too serious, it can hardly be seen in the picture. The back cover is very white and clean. Please look at the pictures, they tell all the story.

Record: The record looks EX to EX+ and sounds great! The Apple labels are in very nice condition. It's one of the best I have ever had or seen. The record comes with a nice original Israeli EMI nylon inner sleeve. Please look at the pictures, they tell all the story.
