Description

PLEASE BE AWARE YOU ARE PURCHASING A VINYL RECORD, NOT A CD!

"Tonight is the night; it's the night I've waited for!" So sings beautiful, opulently proportioned Tina Louise in breathy anticipation of a full evening of intimate romance. Here, for the first time on records, is the warm, mood-filled voice of one of the most glamorous of all America's glamour girls. Softly, soothingly, sensuously she sings her songs—songs that reveal in an unbroken story line the emotional surgings of a gorgeous girl as she first anticipates and then enjoys to the utmost the fulfillment of an evening with——well, it could be you!"

For your consideration, what may well be the finest example of this rare Tina Louise record now in existence. This is the original MONO Concert Hall vinyl lp (Concert Hall H 1521) entitled "It's Time for Tina starring Tina Louise." This is the virtually unfindable first pressing, with A1/A2 in the dead wax. The vinyl is pristine, and appears unplayed.

As an added bonus, in addition to Ms. Louise's dramatically and unequivocally sexy vocals, Coleman Hawkins is featured on tenor sax.

The jacket fares nearly as well as the vinyl. The colors are vibrant and the image spectacular. The corners are square, though not quite crisp. On the front there are some slight wear or dirt marks, most evident on Tina's upper chest and below her upraised arm (see close-up pic). Along the bottom edge, on the right side, there is some white intruding into the green (see pic), though I can't tell if the green has rubbed off or whether this was a printing defect. The back is equally fine, with black type contrasting sharply with the clean, white background. Some slight ringwear is visible at the bottom (see pic), but not enough to detract from the overall outstanding impression. The inner sleeve is original, filmy acetate style, with an approx. 2" split along the bottom seam.

Please note: PHOTOS of Tina in Gilligan's Island animal print garb and autographed poster are NOT INCLUDED in this auction. They are for entertainment purposes only! Auction includes only vinyl record album, inner sleeve and jacket.

Do not miss this opportunity to obtain this outstanding popular culture lp. Makes a great Christmas gift. Will claim pride of place forever in your man cave!! Bid now!
