"J CHURCH - Seven Inches Of Shitty Music Vol 2: The 7-inch Split Singles" (Test Pressing) wraparound trade hardcover with satin finish.
This is the only existing copy of this unpublished book in hardcover. Another test was printed in softcover, but this is the only hardcover. It was printed in 2020 and has been carefully stored.
The book is an exhaustive documentation of J Church's 7-inch SPLIT single releases with images of the front and back covers, inserts (if any) and both sides of the records themselves. Where multiple variations of the same record exist they are also depicted in detail. Although this is possibly an incomplete compilation of every J Church 7-Inch that was ever released, it is as complete as was likely possible at the time of printing.
Clocking in at 199 pages, this is volume 2 of a 2-volume set. The first volume (also listed on eBay) documented the band's pure 7-inch singles and EPs and was also printed in 2020.
Both volumes were also test printed in softcover and those are also available on eBay.
A softcover collected edition was also test printed combining both volumes in a single large copy, which is also available on eBay.
The books were never published, because I was unable to find a proper contact for Lance Hahn's estate, so the project currently remains abandoned.
Someday a new, revised edition may find its way to publication - perhaps as an unauthorized edition.
