Record Store Day 2015 Release. Last year two disco 12" Record Store Day releases from BBE became instant collectables... we expect this year's releases to be no exception, but this time around the philosophy is 'less is more' as we showcase the hip-hop side of the label across two very special limited 7" singles from J Dilla and DJ Vadim. First up is a track from J Dilla that has been crying out for 7" single release ever since it debuted on his second BBE album The Shining in 2006. Love has Pharoahe Monch throwing down his rhymes in praise of soul music and being in love over an evocative Curtis Mayfield sample and urgent yet funky soundscape from the man many felt was the greatest hiphop producer of them all. People have wanted anything and everything from the man also known as Jay Dee ever since his Slum Village days, and the few releases that have slipped out since his death only add to his aura ...this bona-fide legitimate release cements the legend, a must for all true hip-hop heads.
