All tracks except A3 ("Signs") are extended versions of tracks from J Dilla's 'Donuts' album. "Signs" can also be found on the 'Donuts 45' 7-inch. 

Since this EP is a Stones Throw promotional vinyl release, no record jacket comes with it. However, there are two special edition EPs that come with picture covers. They were given to attendees of Stones Throw's parties at 2006's WMC (Winter Music Conference) and SXSW (South by Southwest). The covers bear the "Dilla Donuts" logo in faux black spraypaint, the respective event's name (Winter Music Conference 2006 or SXSW 2006) and the respective party's presenter/sponsor (Guitar Center for the WMC and Adult Swim for SXSW).
