Especially surprising because Live Nation professionally shot the performance.)

The welcome return of a scaled down band with Jack backed by Dominic Davis on bass, Carla Azare on drums and, at the time, still only Neal "Nitro" Evans on keys produced raw energy reminiscent of peak Dead Weather. The Mayan show stood out among the countless, exceptional live performances of Jack White side projects and solo releases post White Stripes that I have been blessed to attend.

This is a must have Vault release of shows that I can personally attest were some of Jack's most creative, energetic and memorable performances in years.
