Description

Considered by many to be the FIRST Rock 'n' Roll record- this is an original pressing of "Rocket 88" b/w "Come Back Where You Belong" by Jackie Brenston & His Delta Cats from 1951. This song was originally recorded at the Memphis Recording Service (later Sun Records studio) and the masters were leased to Chess Records. This particular record is very rare and is in NM condition! The grooves are shiny and the labels are brilliant. It plays great on both sides with no skips, ticks, pops or breakage. You won't find this rare bird in better shape than this! I hate to give her up, but I need the money more than the record.
