JACKIE MCLEAN-A FICKLE SONANCE (1961, Blue Note)

Condition of Cover: Nice VG, some EW, minor SW, small tape residue spot and tiny paper scuff inside that small spot in top back right corner area. 

Condition of Record: Side 1 VG+, Side 2 visual VG, plays mostly VG+. I heard 1 quick nonrepeating skip before the music got going and 2 small tics in the middle of the song "A Fickle Sonance." Played on my Gemini turntable using a Grado cartridge.      

Additional Information: Original. BLP 4089. MONO. RVG and ear symbol in deadwax. NEW YORK USA address on blue and white label. Includes original Blue Note inner sleeve in decent shape.

Grading Scale: My grading scale is as follows:

SEALED, M-, NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, G+. I do not sell anything lower than G+. My records are visually and play graded to check for accuracy. My VG+ should have little to no surface noise according to my turntable using a Grado cartridge, and my EX gradings are equivalent to Goldmine's VG++ grading, just more descriptive within the grading spectrum of VG++. My M- is open unplayed. My NM and NM- gradings are reserved for items opened once and played. I generally default to VG if the cover has any noticeable ringwear, surface wear, or seam splits. Just to clarify, what I meant by "1 quick nonrepeating skip before the music got going" is that the skip occurs in the quieter sort of the lead in to the main/bigger part of the jazz routine, but music is playing when the skip occurs. I realized the way I worded it could create confusion, my apologies.
