Absolutely MINT Mobile Fidelity audiophile LP - JACKSON BROWNE - THE PRETENDER - Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab USA - MFSL 1-055. Pressed in Japan. This copy has been played no more than five times. Normally, I would give any LP that has been played no better than a near mint grade, however, this one looks pristine. For those who don't already know, The Pretender, originally released in 1976, is one of Jackson Browne's best; in my opinion, right up there with albums like Late For the Sky. This is the Mobile Fidelity edition, long out of print, a half-speed production and mastering by Original Masteringworks. Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd. Includes the original static-free inner sleeve and special heavy duty protective packaging (with Mobile Fidelity information on LP releases from that time). Also includes the original lyric sheet for this release. Source: The original stereo master tape. Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System (by Stan Ricker). Vinyl is Mint ...plays beautifully and sounds excellent! Jacket/cover is Near Mint. Nothing missing. Enclosed in a protective poly outer sleeve.
