First press released on HMV ASD 2331.

Red-Semi label.

On the side 2 label, there are the remains of a small label. This has the top half of an 'F' & 'A' visible on the top line and the bottom part of 'NO..' on the second line. The letters are in red and the shape of the label is the same as that of EMI factory sample labels of the time [which stated 'FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE]. This leads me to believe that the LP MAY originally have been a factory sample.

The labels on both sides are lightly textured.

The matrix codes are:

Side 1: 2YEA 3278-1G  1   R.

Side 2: 2YEA 3279-1G  1   R.

Visually grades as EX.

 Play grades as EX/EX-.

There is a little short lived, light background noises in just a few places mainly in the first half of side 2. 

There are no surface marks visible on either side when tilted in normal daylight under strong halogen lights there are just a few short, faint marks visible.

Front laminated 3-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending sleeve grades as EX.

White poly-lined inner EX.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.

All items are shipped using Royal Mail and I always obtain proof of posting for items.

United Kingdom shipments should arrive in 2-5 business days from date of shipping.

For International buyers, shipping is by air mail and shipments should arrive in 5- 10 business days from date of shipping.

Delivery times are approximate, they are in business days after the item is shipped. Also please be aware, especially for International shipping, that circumstances beyond my control after shipping can cause delays.

International Buyers are responsible for Import/Custom duties/fees wherever applicable.
