Description
Origianl 1971 U.S. stereo press of LP on vertigo swirl label
Jade Warrior titled "Released"
CONDITION:
lite gatefold cover: VG++
lite shelf wear & some soiling ~ lite wear/fray to edges & corners
beginning of early lite ring ~ top edge has lite paper scrape
vinyl: VG+(+)
clean & glossy with just a couple of smudges ~ several faint hairlines
& a tiny surface mark/blemish on 1 cut on side 1 ~ DNAP
plays excellent, but, with a bit of very lite occasional soft surface crackle
here & there ~ noticeable between cuts & in some of the quieter moments

Founding members Tony Duhig and Jon Field had both previously played with July.
Their debut album for Vertigo sought to create a heavy feeling of spirituality. It's very pleasant in
places and certainly well worth a spin. Both this and their follow-up were notable for some powerful bass
playing from Glyn Havard. Their best effort was probably Last Autumn's Dream which spawned their
only Vertigo 45, The Demon Trucker
