Description

JAH WOOSH - " PSALMS OF WISDOM ", Black Wax (WAXLP 2) Stereo, 1976.

Very rare, 1976, English 1st LP issue of the classic Jah Woosh LP on small Birmingham based label, Black Wax.

English issue and pressing.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

VINYL = V.G.- (I've seen worse... and this copy is free from excessive surface noise, distortion, big scratches or any kind of damage that would cause a needle to skip. But it does have quite a lot of small, obvious light marks. Sadly these do manifest themselves as clicks and crackles as it plays.

Overall, although it is not perfect and I realise this will affect the value, it is by no means completely ruined by it's minor imperfections and would still make a good honest copy for someone to play and enjoy - perfect copies of this LP exchange hands for a lot of money these days and although this is definitely not one of those museum pieces, it is still a very serviceable copy that would be great for somebody out there to play and enjoy as it was originally intented. To be fair, for all this record's imperfections, it still plays a hell of a lot better than some recent Studio 1 represses I've picked up.

Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = V.G.+ (Not totally destroyed - no rips, tears, monster creases or defacing. But had to be marked down for some general wear, a small spine-split and quite a few small creases in the laminate - see photos for further clarification)

LABELS = V.G.- (No serious damage, defacing, etc. But this record has had a lot of plays and does have some prety heavy spindle trails around the centre hole and a few small nicks out of the label - see photos for more info)

NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.

ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!

HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
