If you are looking for a top copy of this - look no further! It's in collectable condition - you won't be disappointed. Record is SEALED, SHRINKWRAPPED & UNPLAYED. A USA issue with small deletion hole in cover.

Jake Thackray was a true original. His influences were Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens but his songs were quintessentially English. Described as ‘the north country Noel Coward’ and with his distinct mellow sounding guitar (it was strung with nylon, not steel) Jake would pluck out the tunes in a style somewhere between jazz and classical. Sadly he passed away at the age of 64 in 2002. This LP is a reminder of a quirky, sometimes bawdy and very intelligent ‘folk’ singer.
