JAMES BALDWIN READING FROM GIOVANNI'S ROOM (Calliope 7" vinyl record, 1963)

The first release on Calliope Records saw James Baldwin reading a part of his second novel noted for it's compassionate depiction of homosexual relationships.

Boston: Calliope Records, 1963. Original 7" 33 1/2 rpm vinyl record. Fine in an unprinted paper sleeve in a near fine pictorial cardboard sleeve with slight colour scrape on a couple of parts of the front cover.

Very hard to find, only produced in small numbers and not (to my knowledge) ever re-released in any other formats.

Condition - SLEEVE: fine. VINYL: Near mint.
