Description
Available here is a James Brown and the Famous Flames 7" demo single - Have Mercy Baby b/w Just Won’t Do Right. A UK pressing, it was issued on the London label in 1965, with the catalogue number HL9945 and "Demonstration Sample Not For Sale" printed on both sides of the disc label.
The label also has a hand written date of 8/1/65 on the A side with additional numbered stamps both sides. I think that it is fair to assume that these would have originated in-house from the record company, given that an official release date of 15-1-65 is also printed on the label.
Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The disc is bright and clean and free from any scratches. There is no jumping, sticking, crackle or hiss on either side.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good - The outer sleeve has moderate wear.
