and closely reviewed to achieve an honest assessment and grade of condition!

        JAMES BROWN - Jump Around - King KS-771 stereo - Issued in 1963

Audible Condition = NM/VG+
Visible Condition = NM-/VG+

   This extremely Rare mostly instrumental stereo Lp is actually the third pressing, each pressing has the same catalog number #771, but with a different title. The first was released in 1960 titled "Night Train", the second is "Twist Around"released in 1962. "Jump Around" is the only one that was released in both mono and stereo(re-channeled) and the stereo issue is very scarce because most were released in mono! It doesn't have the typical echo from a re-channeled stereo recording, it sounds like true stereo with amazing separation and fidelity. Other artist on this Lp are The Wobblers, Herb Hardesty, Henry Moore, Hank Marr, and Clifford Scott.

   The vinyl is glossy with very mi-nute visible groove wear and NM fidelity. There are 4 very fine hairline surface scratches on side 1 that produce 4 mi-nute background tic's. Side 2 has 5 very fine hairline surface scratches that produce occasional mi-nute background tic's. There are no pops or skips and other than a few mi-nute background tic's, this album plays and sounds great! The labels are NM with the previous owners name written in marker on label 1, The white inner sleeve is NM- but unknown if it is original, the cover is NM- with most of the factory shrink wrap, light ring wear on the left top of the front where the shrink is missing(the sticker on the right top is on the shrink), and the previous owners name written in marker on the back.    Side 2 - Doin' Everything, Suds(Henry Moore), Tonk Game(Hank Marr), Switch-A-Roo(Henry Moore), Bushy Tail(Clifford Scott), Cross Firing

The 2007 Goldmine price guide values it at $300 in NM condition, $150 in VG+ condition.
