JAMES BROWN AND HIS FAMOUS FLAMES "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" US ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS MONO "small" KING 610 LP FROM 1958!!
SOUL/R&B/POP/RHYTHM/VOCAL/CLASSIC
CONDITION: cover/disc VG/VG (see guide below)
COVER: (almost VG+) heavy glossy cover has almost no ring wear and slight soiling on back. Has 1/2 inch split on top seam and 8 inch split on bottom seam that has been very nicely repaired. ****After taking a closer look at the repair job, it looks like there was not a lot of splitting to repair. Mostly it looks like it was "fraying" that someone glued down more than split repair. I do not see the usual tape inside the cover for split repairs.****
DISC: (almost VG+) Looks glossy and plays very well with very little surface noise except tracks A1 and B1!! A1 has a tiny scratch that clicks ten times. B1 plays noisy most of the time. The rest of the vinyl plays nicely!! Has some spindle marks. Side 1 label has a minor factory flaw next to the KING name.
STRICT GRADING UNDER 100 WATT SPOTLIGHT ! ALL FLAWS ARE NOTED!!!!!!! Graded per Goldmine standards: NM/VG/G and + or -. "Near Mint " or "NM" is my HIGHEST grade !!! I DO NOT use "EX" grade (VG+ = EX) !! Played on high end system .

THE FOLLOWING GRADING SYSTEM APPLIES:
NM : MY HIGHEST GRADE!!!! Vinyl is visually perfect, No scratches or marks at all (SOME CALL THIS MINT).
VG++ : (VG++ = EX+) Record has just a few faint paper sleeve marks that do not affect play. Visually they should be barely noticable. Very high gloss surface.
VG+ : (VG+ = EX) Record has been handled or played carefully, and may have some very light paper marks or other very minor flaws that barely affect play. Should still play clean with little or minimal surface noise. High gloss surface.
VG: Record has been well played, has some scratches, perhaps some minor groove wear. There will be some surface noise, but NO SKIPS OR JUMPS!! Still has most of the original gloss.
VG- : Record is fairly scratched, has surface noise, and lots of wear. Still should play without skips or jumps. Some original gloss remains.
G: Poor condition, may have a warp, skip, and lots of visual surface wear. Little or no gloss remains.
