Spirit of Sound Records has come into vinyl LP gems, 45s and 78s from all genres in prime condition and will be listing regularly for the foreseeable future. We presently offer some rare and seriously rare 10" LPs, most are originals, from the early 1950s. Condition of these items will vary. Check titles and condition carefully. JAMES MOODY'S MOODS; Esquire 20-077, UK 10" Original. Mono. Recorded mid 1950s. James Moody, tenor and alto sax with Dave Burns, trumpet; Numa Moore, baritone sax; William Shepherd, trombone; Sadik Hakim, piano (side 1); Jimmy Boyd, piano (side 2); John Latham, bass; Joe Harris, drums and Eddie Jefferson, vocal. Arranged by Quincy Jones. Includes great vocal cut by Eddie Jefferson. Vinyl is VG+, clean with original glossy sheen and a few light marks. Plays VG+/EX with perhaps some very light surface noise in places. Labels are clean, no marks, very nice. Jacket is VG+/EX, no splits or tears with light wear spine corners and light ring wear. Here's a rare find in very nice condition!

Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception. We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS. We combine shipping for multiple purchases. To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase. We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation (registered mail) when choosing a shipping option. Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
