Description
Live album released as part of Record Store Day 2016. As the cellophane sticker indicates a download card is included which redeems a free MP3 copy from The Sound of Vinyl digital store. The rear sleeve features a review of the gig reproduced from James fanzine issue no. 2 with the kind permission of Lori Chin. Durations taken as stated from the rear sleeve. According to the official James Twitter feed 1600 copies were pressed. As can be derived from the title this live set was originally performed in 1992 recorded using solar power in support of environmental organisation Greenpeace. Track A2 was originally released (albeit in slightly remixed form) as the b-side to the band's 1993 single 'Sometimes'. It was also re-released on the 'Laid' 2015 reissue. Track A3 was previously released on the 'Alternative NRG' compilation also in support of Greenpeace. Track C2's full title as per the Gold Mother album is 'You Can't Tell How Much Suffering (On A Face That's Always Smiling)'.
