JAN DUKES DE GREY Mice And Rats In The Loft (Transatlantic) UK 1971.
Here's an Ultra RARE!! Original UK Pressing of Jan Dukes De Grey "Mice And Rats In The Loft" on Transatlantic. Real tough to find this Beauty!! Essential early 70s UK Psychedelic Folk Rock, a real Masterpiece to my mind.
Most folks will already know this, but Transatlantic used an unusual 'built in' inner sleeve with this release (and a few others), with a foam edge. Which notoriously caused 'hazing' to the edge of the Vinyl. This one is not too bad (one of the better i've seen). There's minimal impact on Side 1, as the haze is mostly only on the 'lead in' section, on Side 2 it causes moderate static for around the first 15 secs.
The Cover EX- (see pics +_ zoom), some light to moderate creasing to the laminate around the edge, the Vinyl is EX, as mentioned - it has the usual hazing at the start, only hairline sleeve scuffing, appears seldom played. Plays quite well overall with only light crackle in sections, no skips or loud pops when i play tested.
Extremely difficult to find, don't miss!!
