Description
A RARE first press UK vinyl copy of Sorcerers by Jan Dukes de Grey on Decca Nova from 1969. Showing minimal traces of spindle marks on its lovely turquoise labels, this EX condition stereo disc has clearly been played very little and very carefully. It is housed in its original blue-bordered poly-lined date-marked Decca inner bag, which remains fine - untorn and unsplit. The front laminated sleeve with its stereo/mono peephole is a different story, however, having suffered while very efficiently doing its job of protecting the vinyl within. This cover displays plenty of creasing, some laminate loss and a corner split as well as some serious rubbing and staining on the unlaminated rear, and thus grades only Fair; yet it nevertheless remains intact and will therefore continue to protect this excellent slab of vinyl and inform the listener (as the text remains perfectly readable) until a better cover comes along.
