Description

The great cellist Janos Starker plays what is recognized has one of the very best version of JS Bach's Complete suite for unaccompanied cello.

Pressed in the Netherlands for Mercury # SRI 3-77002. Box is NM (like new). Leaflet is NM. 3 LPs are NM.  This comes from a collector who took obsessive care of his record collection. Every time he played a disc, he indicate the date on the inner sleeve (small stamp). For this set, only the fifth side has been played, once.  The rest is unplayed!!
