Description
Jazz At The Pawnshop 2 Lp Gatefold Prop 7778-79
Arne Domnérus, Bengt Hallberg, Georg Riedel, Egil Johansen and Lars Erstrand.
For sale is the rare 1st 1977 release and first pressing (matrix stamped in runout grooves are GP 1) of this double lp. GP stands for Swedish Grammoplast AB - that is the Swedish pressing plant.
Here is how to identify the first of the numerous pressings:
- Liner notes and other infos inside the gatefold cover are in Swedish language.
- "Made in Sweden" is not printed on back of cover, as on Arne Domnérus - Jazz at the Pawnshop.
- In the lower right corner of the back cover is very small logo of "SIB-Tryck, Tumba" printed.
- All labels have "Proprius books & music" printed on the background.
- The track order on the cover backside and the 7779 B label is incorrect:
- A sticker with the correct track order can be found on the inside of the cover with the text:
Rättelse: Ordningen på 7779 B. är: 1. How high the moon 2. Take five 3. Everything happens to me Sorry!
Information in the run out grooves:
7778 A: PROP 7778 A GP 1 2
7778 B: PROP 7778 B GP 1 2
7779 A: PROP 7779 A GP 3 1
7779 B: PROP 7779 B GP 1 1
Pictures are always of actual item and any defects are a macro photage (nothing is hidden).
Vinyl is NM or EX+ no visual marks. And is playgraded as NM / EX+
The Gatefold Sleeve has no creases, no seam splits, (see photos), no writings, no ring wear, slight edge and shelf wear, text on spine is clear and readable - Sleeve graded as VG+ (See pictures)
The inner sleeve is original with Swedish texting and has no creases, no tears, no seam splits but some wrinkles and discoloration from use and age- therefore graded as VG+
The labels has no spindle marks and are glossy and shine in the original red color - graded as NM / EX

As you may have noticed I have no seller ratings yet because I am new to ebay - You are welcome to be my first customer and I'l do the best to meet your demand. Please, don't hesitate to give bids due to that. I will build my reputation slowly as sales progress. You are always wellcome to contact me for any questions.
My gradings are strict and correct. And I will ship promptly and in secure package. I am also selling on Discogs (Vagency) and you can see my ratings there so I have some experience in packaging records for shipment to foreign countries. There will be low reserves and allways full refund if the item is not as my descriptions.
I USE THE RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM: Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
