- Info: Great liner notes on this rare and hard to find record, featuring a couple of West Coast jazz heavies who each get one side of the album (liner notes can be viewed using enlarge option in photos). Not only was Buddy Collette an early pioneer at playing jazz on the flute (he also played sax & clarinet) and an early teacher of Charles Mingus, he became the first black musician to get a permanent spot in a West Coast studio band. Curtis Counce was an in-demand session bassist and one of the first African Americans to get heavily involved in the West Coast jazz movement in the 1940s. (amg) As the liner notes say: "We might as well get used to the idea: The cats are going to keep trying for Endsville."

Packaging & Shipping:
- All records packaged in new custom record boxes. Records are sleeved, removed from jacket to prevent any seam splitting, and then shipped inside a poly album sleeve (unless a sealed record album). Double albums are packaged the same with the second LP put between the gatefold jacket.
- Shipping discount is available when buying more than one item. Request a quote prior to purchase, or purchase multiple items and wait for an invoice with combined items shipping charge.
