Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin-Clean record cleaning system.
Jazz West Coast flat edge, deep groove MONO vinyl LP JWC-506 - released 1957
EX vinyl retains newish sheen and gloss with a bit of superficial sleeve scuff. Side 1 has no spindle trails, side 2 does, so light prior play likely. Play test revealed beautiful, and mostly clear analogue sound, with occasional light surface or light tick. A quality pressing. VG cover has shelf and seam wear, stubbed corners, center seam splits / tears top and bottom seams (see photos). Upper rear right corner has adhesive remnant.
