1988 USA RELIC/PARROT RECORDS 8017
These sides were recorded for the Parrot label in 1954 and 1955. Four singles were released at the time - both sides of them all they are included here as well as 5 more tracks that were not released at the time. Some of this material was reissued by Chess records but certainly not all. JB is in great form on guitar and vocals backed by a rocking bunch including Joe Montgomery on piano, Lorenzo Smith on sax and Al Galvin on drums. As usual JB's songs are lyrically as well as musically strong.
The LP record label is a beautiful reproduction of the Parrot label in yellow and black.
The back sleeve contains massive and informative liner notes by Dick Shurman.

The sleeve shows is in excellent condition no splits, tears or writing.
The record is also in excellent condition - no sticks, clicks, scratches or scuffs - great sound - it rings out loud and clear.
